WHY THIS CONCLAVE

INDIA IS PLAYING MORE.
INJURIES ARE RISING FASTER.

From the IPL and Pro Kabaddi to Khelo India and weekend marathons, more Indians are competing than ever — and sports injury care has to keep pace. The gap is not enthusiasm; it is coordinated, evidence-based treatment: accurate early assessment, modern arthroscopic and preservation surgery, structured rehabilitation, and objective return-to-play decisions.

SIC 2027 exists to close that gap — bringing the surgeons, sports physicians, physiotherapists and sports scientists who share one athlete into one room.

5,00,000+athletes registered under Khelo India (2023) — a professional league now exists for nearly every major sport
₹1,900 Cr → ₹3,100 CrIndia's sports-medicine market, 2024 to 2033 (projected)
Every levelschool, collegiate and recreational athletes now carry a growing share of the injury load

Market estimates: Grand View Research, India sports-medicine outlook (USD 220M in 2024, projected USD 360M by 2033, converted at ~₹86/USD). Athlete registrations: Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Khelo India programme.

Our mission: to advance evidence-based sports injury care in India — uniting surgeons, sports physicians, physiotherapists and sports scientists to take every athlete safely from injury back to peak performance.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

FROM PREVENTION TO RETURN TO PLAY

Seven threads run through the two days — the same order an injury travels.

  • Comprehensive Sports Injury Management Across All Joints

Shoulder, knee, ankle, hip, elbow and wrist — the full anatomy of sport, not a single-joint meeting.

  • Current Concepts in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Where the evidence stands today — and where practice is moving next.

  • From Prevention to Return to Play

The complete athlete journey: screening, load management, injury, surgery, rehab, and the decision to play again.

  • Innovation in Surgical Techniques and Orthobiologics

Preservation-first surgery, robotics, and the honest state of biologics — hype separated from evidence.

  • Live Surgical Videos and Technical Pearls

Watch decisions being made, not just outcomes presented.

  • Rehabilitation and Return-to-Sport Strategies

Criteria-based progressions and objective testing, built with the physiotherapists who deliver them.

  • Sports Nutrition, Psychology and Emerging Technologies

The performance layer around the surgery — what the athlete's team needs beyond the operating room.
